The difference

Check the programme against the model, not just against itself.

Insight Plan reads where objects sit in the model: which pour is below, which wall stands beside. Where the model says one thing depends on another and the programme has no link, it lists the missing predecessor with the contact it found.

Quantities come straight from the resources in the programme. Overlay a baseline and a new draft, group by week, month, quarter or year, and colour the lines as you like.

Clash detection

Find what touches, within a model or across models.

Every model is checked against itself and against every other loaded model, on the real geometry and where the models are placed. Each result names both objects, says whether they overlap or only touch, and shows the gap. Click a pair to see it in 3D.

Round trip with Primavera P6

Reads P6 XER and XML, and a P6 Professional database live and read-only. Writes P6 XER and XML back, so your changes return to P6 by import. Nothing is ever written into P6 directly.

Reads MS Project

Open a programme saved from Microsoft Project as XML, with its tasks and links, and use it for 4D, resources and checks.

Excel and CSV

No scheduler at all? Drop a spreadsheet with names and dates and it becomes a programme you can link to the model.

Or no programme at all

Models alone work too: clashes, IDS checks and patches, search sets, the set player, colouring and measuring.

Beyond Primavera P6

Insight Plan reads and writes P6 programmes, and adds what P6 does not do on its own.

P6 holds the programme only. Here the programme is linked to the IFC model and played forward date by date.
